God provides manna.

God provides manna.

As I am coming closer to 100% of my financial fundraising goal, God is reminding me that He is a God that provides manna from heaven. He is the God who makes a way when there is no way. He provides.

I would love to be fully funded already. (Like many others who work in college ministry, I rely on the generosity of monthly donors to be able work.) I would love to be done with this part of my journey. The Israelites certainly wanted to be in the promised land much sooner than God planned, but God was teaching the Israelites that He was trustworthy and faithful to give the Israelites what they needed day by day.

So, it’s fitting for the Lord to span out my financial partners up until I begin at the House of Prayer — or even after. I trust him to provide through His people. If he can provide manna from heaven and He can provide justification through Jesus (the true making a way when there was no way), then he can provide financial partners when I need them. I trust this may feel like a big thing to me, but that it’s a small thing for God. I am trusting His strength to be made perfect in my weakness on my journey.

Whatever wilderness you may be in, I pray that you would know the Lord is carrying you. I pray for God to provide what you need in your nervousness or emptiness or fear. That you will see the small miracles God brings to your life everyday. I pray that you would rest in Him. Amen

Then I said to you, “Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.”

Deuteronomy 1:29-31

“As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

John 6:57-58 (Jesus speaking)

Exodus 16:15-31
